Q&A's

When you book a session with me whether it's Maternity, Family, Headshots, or Birthdays my goal is to always deliver beautiful, high-quality images. You will receive an easy, stress-free, and worthwhile experience. From the moment you step into my studio to the moment you leave. I am committed to being available to support you throughout the process and answering any questions that arise.

How does the process work to schedule my session?

First, submit an inquiry form in the "Inquiry" section above. I will reach out to you via text message to the number provided and schedule a consultation call where we can go over any questions you have, discuss your vision for the photoshoot, and schedule your appointment.

When should I have my maternity photos taken?

My recommendation is between 29 and 34 weeks. Before 29 weeks your bump may still be too small to show up in photographs, and after 34 weeks you may be a bit too uncomfortable to pose and enjoy your session. But at the end of the day, it is always up to the client when they'd like to schedule their session.

How do I choose a backdrop?

After you submit an inquiry form in the "Inquiry" section I will reach out to you and answer any questions you have then we can discuss what your vision is for your session. If you have a Pinterest board I would love to be provided with a link to get some ideas of the mood you're going for. You can also send me any inspirational pictures you have and I will do the rest.

What should I wear?

You can plan your outfit around whatever vision you have for your session. I will help advise on what colors, and patterns to stay away from and I'm always open to giving my thoughts on any outfits you pick out if you send me pictures. For maternity sessions, I always love a long and flowy gown to accentuate the feminine form of your body during pregnancy. Depending on your vision for your session I do have fabrics and props( jewelry, headpieces, etc.) I might like to incorporate.

What can I do to prepare for the session?

Select your wardrobe early, so you won't feel stressed trying to figure it out last minute. Especially if your session is a family shoot.

I'll be here to help with the process! If financially possible, book a hair and makeup artist for your session, it always helps as a confidence boost so you feel like a million bucks during your session. On the day of your photo session be sure to eat, hydrate, and nourish your body! If you have littles that will be a part of the session I have goodies and drinks to keep them happy.

Bring any items ( favorite toy, stuffy, etc.) that can help get your child's attention on the camera if needed.

Do you only offer studio photos?

I prefer to work in studio, but if you have a location in mind where you'd love to have your session done then I am more than happy to schedule on-location photos. I will love capturing these moments for you either way.

What should I bring with me for headshots?

You should bring a few outfit options, hair and makeup products for touch-ups, and any specific props or accessories related to the purpose of the headshot.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I offer payment plans customized to what best fits my clients. The only thing I don't offer a payment plan on is the retainer fee, which must be paid in full to officially book your appointment.
